This first collection starts in Niagara, Ontario, with a small set of cyphers, a battle and music connected to the scene. It is a starting point, with room for the people who know the history to help fill in the gaps.
Collaboration. Competition. Connection.
Hip-hop creates room to build together and to test yourself against someone else. A cypher and a battle bring different energy. Both leave work, relationships and history worth following.
The site makes those relationships visible through actual credits and public sources. An appearance is an appearance; it does not automatically mean membership, affiliation or endorsement.
Small enough to learn from.
This is a free, independent community arts pilot started by Mikey Bars. Niagara is the proving ground: a place to find out whether connecting the pieces is useful to the people who made them and the people discovering them.

Original names stay attached to their credits, even when someone uses a different name today. Publication dates stay separate from event dates. Missing information stays open until there is a reason to fill it in.
